Well, not an entirely new proper 2xLP but now available as two LPs in once package, Volar Records is offering the first two Soft Riot LPs, No Longer Stranger and Fiction Prediction at a pretty nice discounted rate to the advantage of listeners in North America. Only $10.00 for both (exc. shipping).

No Longer Stranger was the first Soft Riot release, originally a 6-song digital EP released on Panospria back in the first half of 2011. It was then picked up out of interest by San Diego’s Volar Records and expanded with two extra tracks into an LP. This album contains a complete re-working of the track “Electrolux” by Hoover, a post-hardcore band on the legendary Dischord Records from their 1993 release The Lurid Traversal of Route 7.

Fiction Prediction was released in 2013, featuring tracks that documented the shift from more atmospheric, soundtrack-influenced pieces to the mutant synth-pop of later records..

So check it out! If you’re in Europe and wanting to avoid the shipping costs you can still order these two items from the Soft Riot store.
