Berlin-based perfume and soap maker Seifenhexe proposed the idea of doing a Soft Riot scented perfume so it seemed definitely like an interesting idea, thus a fun little collaboration was born. Now available to buy online.
Frastuoni Monitor Playlist and Into 2021
The track “Taking Off The Edge” has been included on a very nicely stacked mix by curator Simona Bluette as part of the Monitor Playlist series on the Italian music website, frastuoni.it. The mix features other great tracks from notable players in the modern synth scene, including Boy Harsher, Buzz Kull, Void Vision, Minuit Machine, Martial Canterel and more.
Cinema Eyes (Version IV) out now on Forbidden Figures compilation
Out now! A new compilation called Forbidden Figures, released to raise money for fellow synth artist Nao Katafuchi and his ongoing legal issues. Includes a brand, new reworked version of “Cinema Eyes” as well as tracks by 30+ amazing artists from around the world.

Soft Riot remixes Hexadiode
Coming out in time for this year’s unique, socially-distanced Halloween is a new compilation album of remixes entitled Controlled Burn for Hexadiode, an electronic/industrial band from Dayton, Ohio. This new release features a remix by yours truly for the track “Brain in 3” as well as remixes by other artists including Skeleton Hands, 6th Circle and more.
The Four and Five Year Anniversary of Two Albums
Today is the anniversary of two releases, both released in past years on 19 September 2015 with the album You Never know What Might Come Next and the other a year earlier on this day in 2014 with Some More Terror.

Volar Records has just released a new 22 track compilation entitled Presence Not Absence including the Soft Riot track “There Just Isn’t Enough Time II”, from the Taking Off The Edge digital single, which aims to raise funds for Trans BIPOC Housing Assistance.

Juneteenth Sale To Help Stand Against Racial Injustice
Today BandCamp is donating all of their fees today on Juneteenth to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund to support racial injustice, inequality and change. As with the Bandcamp sale earlier this month, all proceeds from the Soft Riot / Possession Records sales today will go to Black Lives Matter UK.

Starting tomorrow, the Gothic Pogo XIV.5 Livestream commences with 3 days of musical acts and DJs from around the world. Along with a live/studio Soft Riot performance of three songs, there’s a bunch of other video treats that have been created for this online festival upon request of the fine folks at Gothic Pogo.
