Pre-orders for the forthcoming album Crux are now live and and running! To jump to pre-ordering the album on digital and physical formats, you can do so here from BandCamp:
Possession Records will be handling the digital and digipak CD versions of the album, and in the near future the album will be available on key streaming platforms on the release of the album on 15 May 2026.
Crux is also to be released on a limited edition vinyl LP by the German label Minimalkombinat. The pre-orders on that, which started through that label last week have been very strong — so much so that at this early of a stage after the album’s announcement that it would seem that limited edition LP version is already sold out! There are only around 100 LPs of that version to be released — 66 as the standard limited edition LP and then another 33 as a “box set” version (more on these formats below).
Details on the limited LP versions
The limited edition deluxe vinyl LP that is to be released on Minimalkombinat comes in two different versions:
Limited edition deluxe vinyl LP (Version 1)
This version at 66 copies has the following features: vinyl LP pressed on orange and black “splatter” vinyl and inserted into a black paper cardboard sleeve with the cover artwork printed on glossy stock and glued to the front side of the sleeve. The reverse side contains no artwork but with the Minimalkombinat label logo and catalogue number stamped onto the reverse side of the sleeve. A clear, 3mm laser-cut piece of plexiglass is fixed onto the front cover in the cutout shape of JJD’s head on the cover. Inside the sleeve is a double-sided, full-colour insert with the tracklisting, artist image and the edition number hand-written on one side and then the lyrics and album credits printed on the other. Also included in the sleeve is an exclusive CD that contains all nine of the album tracks plus six additional bonus tracks that come from the forthcoming, additional EP Alter — containing exclusive, alternate and extended versions of tracks relating to Crux — which will be announced in the coming months and released as a standalone digital/digipak CD release in late June 2026 and officially announced closer to the time of release.
Limited edition deluxe vinyl LP (Version 2)
This version contains all of the elements above put sees the whole LP package placed into a black, sturdy box with an arrangement of movable silver/mirrored panels fixed onto a pin structure on the front side as well as alternate version of the LP’s front cover artwork fixed onto the box on a forex plate.

And they’re now gone!
It has come as a surprise that all of the copies of these two versions of the limited edition vinyl LP were picked up on pre-order when Minimalkombimat announced it around a week ago. Due to this unexpected demand, there were only five copies of the Version 1 limited vinyl through the BandCamp store and those are now SOLD OUT.
In order to keep this album available in an LP version in the foreseeable future for those who missed out on the sale of the limited edition LP that has so quickly sold out, a standard vinyl pressing of the album is now available on Possession Records for pre-0rder, with a standard LP sleeve and without the bonus, exclusive CD of Crux and extra tracks from the Alter EP.
