Starting tomorrow, the Gothic Pogo XIV.5 Livestream commences with 3 days of musical acts and DJs from around the world, acting as a nice, creative stop-gap for this year’s actual festival, which has been post-poned to 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic. Along with a live/studio Soft Riot performance of three songs, there’s a bunch of other video treats that have been created for this online festival upon request of the fine folks at Gothic Pogo.
I’ve created a bunch of extra video content for the festival, including a number of video idents as well as an informercial for this year’s festival charity, Mission Lifeline. You’ll also perhaps recognize a few characters from older Soft Riot videos making an appearance, including Derek Laser and Klaxxa Battleburn from the video for “For Your Entertainment” from the 2015 album You Never Know What Might Come Next!
