Although the lockdown continues with live concerts still likely not happening for a little while, live streaming have been on the rise. And as someone who does a lot of work in the video production field, it’s been a very interesting creative opportunity to contribute to some of these online festivals.
After contributing an exclusive live performance to the online Gothicat Festival #2 earlier this month there’s two more Soft Riot online performances coming up right around the corner.
This Sunday, 24 May 2020, at 6PM UK Time is the first episode of Moonfrog Presents, showcasing a number of UK-based synth, electronic, EBM and post-punk artists. Along with a Soft Riot performance of two tracks recorded in the studio, other contributions come from other great artists such as Liverpool’s Double Echo, New Haunts from Bristol, Vogue Noir from London and more.

The following weekend we have the Gothic Pogo XIV.5 Live Stream. As this year’s full Gothic Pogo Festival including line-up has been now post-poned to 2021 due to the ongoing lockdown situation, the fine team at Gothic Pogo are putting together a fun three evenings of live streaming to fill the gap this year. There’ll be a recorded studio performance of three Soft Riot tracks and a number of other contributions. You can find out more information about that below:
